Well, I've gone from being generally depressed to generally irritable in the course of a day. Happy fucking easter everybody.

How was everyone's Easter? Mine was kinda slow, but it was alright. Friday we went out to dinner at Glory Days. It's becoming our new favorite place, since Rocky Run has started cutting their portions down. We only go there anymore when we think that Devon's working. Saturday we saw Bulletproof Monk (again), and then ran around trying to get a price for Bart's room. We're gonna finish off the basement, and he'll stay there. When all is said and done, he's gonna have more square feet than I do in my room ... it should cost about $500-600 or so. Saturday night, some of us went to see A Raisin In The Sun at AACC. The acting, for the most part, was pretty good. The set was pretty bad (no offense to those who worked on it), the costumes were pretty bad (the only people who wore carpenter pants in the 50's were carpenters, and even then they weren't baggy) and the props weren't all that great either (some of the furniture was post-1950s). The directing was pretty horrible, but that's to be expected. The actors rushed through their lines, and sometimes it was a bit hard to make out what they were saying. Especially the ones trying to speak with accents. After the play, we went to Friday's to hang out a bit, and then we went our separate ways. Sunday I went over my sister's house for easter lunch/dinner, and found out a bit about my estranged grandfather on my dad's side. He left when my dad was 6 months old, and hasn't bothered to try to contact my dad until recently, because he's slowly going blind. He keeps asking my dad to come out to Texas so he can see him, but my dad doesn't really have any interest in doing so. He'll probably do it anyway, though, because otherwise he'll feel guilty. The family history on my dad's side is pretty screwed up, I won't go into it here because it would take too long. If anyone is interested, just ask me, and I'll go over the basics. All in all, it was a pretty good weekend, if not overly exciting. Hope everyone out there had a good time, and hope everyone who's been getting sick start to feel better. For those of you who don't know yet, the softball thing is definitely going on, on May 3, at 12:30 at Northeast High School in Pasadena. Hope to see yas there.

Today is John Waters' 57th birthday. Wish him a good one. Also, it looks like Amanda's dog Sammy is going to pull through. Wish him a good one, too.

I'm currently in the middle of another panic attack again. I was all set to go to bed 15 minutes ago, and all of a sudden it came about. My heart is racing, and I have no idea why. I thought it might be the cold medicine I took, but that had to be about 4 hours ago.

A combination of sickness and haunting, strange dreams I can still remember, but won't go into here, added up to a restless night. Last night, I had sushi for the first time in almost a year. It was really good. I got about $40 worth of sushi. The only thing I got that I didn't care for too much were the mussels. They were baked in the half-shell with a kinda crab imperial kinda sauce, something with mayonaise. Everything else was excellent. Today is the Kinetic Sculpture Race, rain or shine (and right now it's raining). Should be fun. The rain isn't coming down really hard right now. Just enough to make things miserable.
